Club Officers
Duties of Officers
President
Presides at all General Meetings, Board Meetings of the Club.
Is an ex-officio member of all Committees and Projects.
Serves on the Finance Committee and Yearbook Committee.
Coordinates with District and State and reporting required.
Is responsible for procuring speaker and site for March General Meeting.
Is responsible for Gardening Committees.
1st Vice President
Chairs Yearbook Committee; compiles and distributes Yearbook at the March Meeting.
This is done in conjunction with help from all Officers of the Club with pertinent information.
Assists President in duties and perform duties of the President in her absence.
The Yearbook Committee reports to the 1st Vice President.
2nd Vice President
Shall be responsible for the Programs, for the Homes or Locations of meetings and the assignment of Food Chairs and Food Committee members.
Provides list of all information needed by the 1st Vice-President for the yearbook.
3rd Vice President
Shall be responsible for coordinating member assignment to Committees (Administrative/Gardening) and Projects (New/Ongoing)
Is responsible for providing the list of members assigned to Committees (Administrative/Gardening) and Projects (New/Ongoing) to 1st Vice- President for the yearbook.
Recording Secretary
Shall be responsible for taking minutes of the monthly Board Meetings and the General Meetings.
These minutes shall be emailed to the President(s) for approval after the meetings.
Shall read the approved minutes in the next month’s Board Meeting and General Meeting.
Shall serve as Chairperson of the Email/Telephone Committee.
Is responsible for all outgoing correspondence to members.
Reports to the Club any incoming correspondence from members.
Send thank you notes when appropriate.
Corresponding Secretary
Treasurer
1. Keeps accurate account of all monies.
2. Collects and disperses monies approved by Board.
3. Collects dues and sends notice to all members who have not paid by May 15th.
4. Sends all required funds to the District and State as required by Board.
5. Serves as Chairperson on Finance Committee.
Chaplain
1. Is responsible for monthly devotions, blessing of food and prayers when necessary.
Parliamentarian
1. Must be knowledgeable of parliamentary procedures and shall keep each meeting running smoothly. .
Auditor
1. Position is filled by past Treasurer.
2. Audit is done once a year insuring accuracy of Treasurers reporting.
3. Serves on Finance Committee.
